Acting
Seraag and directors ‘Abbaas Kaamel and Fateen Abdul Wahhaab were born of the same family. He was sent, by his family, to Europe to study medicine, but instead he studied German language. It was Muhammad Kareem, the director whom he met in Germany, who gave his first role in “Zeinab” the silent film. He married actor Mimi Shekeeb who remained his wife till the end of his life though at the beginning they suffered a lot from her family’s refusal.
